Consistently among the front-runners in the main national and international competitions, IPKarting has wrapped up a protagonist year with all the brands of the group. Coordinated by the company, drivers and teams demonstrated the potential of the IPK technical package under the colours of Praga Kart, Formula K, RS Kart and OK1 Kart, collecting podium finishes across several categories, from MINI U10 to KZ2, including the OK-N classes.
The 2025 season held particular significance for Formula K, which saw the debut of the Formula K SRP Factory Team. The new official squad immediately stood out in international competitions, achieving notable results in the Shifter categories. David Trefilov opened the FIA Karting European Championship KZ with a fifth place in the opening round, before securing overall pole position at the FIA Karting World Championship in Franciacorta. A retirement in the final prevented him from fighting for the podium, but the weekend was enhanced by two heat victories and pole position starts in all the races contested. Trefilov also confirmed his competitiveness in KZ2, finishing fourth at the Trofeo Andrea Margutti and fifth in the final standings of the WSK Final Cup.
Racing with the Formula K SRP Factory Team, Emilien Denner also proved his value in the KZ category, securing top-five finishes both at the World Championship and in the third and final round of the European Championship. In KZ2, Denner enjoyed a high-level season that saw him claim the WSK Final Cup runner-up title, thanks to two podium finishes achieved over the three rounds contested.
Formula K’s overall balance was further enriched by the results of Markus Kajak, who was crowned European Vice-Champion in KZ2. Kajak collected three podium finishes: a second place in the second round of the FIA Karting European Championship and two third places in WSK events. These results were complemented by the second place secured by Tigran Bunatyan in the opening round of the European KZ2 Championship in Valencia.
Equally noteworthy performances were also delivered in the German Championship, where the Formula K SRP Factory Team secured the runner-up title with Markus Kajak and third place overall with Emilien Denner in the DKM KZ2 category. Formula K was also among the front-runners in the DSKC KZ2 class, with Matej Preuss finishing third in the championship. Over the course of the season, the team collected four victories, three second places and one third place in DKM races, closing the year in second place in the teams’ standings.
The development work carried out by IPKarting together with the Formula K SRP Factory Team also paid off in the single-gear categories, as demonstrated by Jan Ruudi Algre in MINI U10. The young driver claimed victory at the Trofeo Andrea Margutti and, once again in Lonato, secured third place in the third round of the WSK Super Master Series, before confirming his pace in Viterbo with a fifth-place finish in the final round of the championship.
IPK chassis further demonstrated their versatility thanks to the contribution of other teams representing the Formula K brand. With the FK Motorsport Team, Lamberto Ferrari put together a solid season in the OK-N category, taking second place in the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship in Viterbo and finishing fourth overall in the WSK Final Cup, largely thanks to the podium finish achieved in Cremona.
In his first season with the IPK Factory Team, Davide Forè established himself as one of the leading references in KZ2 Master with Praga Kart. At Franciacorta he secured overall pole position and second place in the final, with fastest lap, at the FIA Karting International Masters’ Super Cup, after taking second place in the single round of the Champions of the Future Shifters. At national level, Forè concluded the Italian ACI Karting KZ2 Master Championship as runner-up thanks to two victories and one second place, maintaining a consistent presence in the top five.
Praga Kart also stood out in KZ2 with Marek Skřivan, who finished fifth in the European Championship and fifth in the FIA Karting World Cup, where he further enhanced the weekend by winning two heats.
The IPK technical package also achieved success under the RS Kart colours, represented by the new RS NGM Factory Team. Alex Puligheddu secured second place at the Trofeo delle Industrie in Lonato in the OK-N Junior category.
OK1 Kart also competed at national level through collaboration with partner teams such as FG Racing, achieving positive results and helping to complete a successful season for the IPK Group.
The results achieved in 2025 confirm the competitiveness of IPKarting chassis and the quality of the work carried out by drivers and teams throughout the season. IPKarting congratulates all those involved for the professionalism shown and for representing the Group’s brands at the highest level of karting.
